BALANCING ACT TURN-TABLE TABLE

This custom made piece was commissioned to host two turn-tables, a double-channel mixer on its top surface and a storage space for up to 300 vinyls. Being both performative and the object of performance, the unit is conceived as a series of horizontal surfaces interlocking on its lower level by vertical and diagonal similars, and balancing on a triad of wooden spheres on its upper part, all conceived in a monochromatic silver hue.

The console is made of MDF and Swedish pine solid wood, lacquered in a shiny silver coating.

The MORPHE series is the succession of the brand’s previous collections where serenity meets radical aesthetics. The concept is the amalgamation of functional pursuit and imaginative form with the design aiming to take shape in between opposing states. Captured at the moment of transition, the materiality follows the paradox where seemingly solid materials take fluid forms and vice versa.
